Relief for Fort Sumter

General Winfield Scott recommends that both Fort Pickens and
Fort Sumter should be evacuated. However, Lincoln's Cabinet,
meeting informally after a state dinner, reverses itself, decides to
send a relief expedition to Charleston Harbor.
