Federal Cabinet Meets The Federal Cabinet met with the President today to discuss the situation in Charleston Harbor. They are considering if Fort Sumter can be reinforced, resupplied, or evacuated. President Lincoln writes General Scott asking how long the garrison can hold out and if the Army can resupply.
